“We’ve been going about this all wrong. This Mr. Stay Puft’s okay! He’s a sailor, he’s in New York; we get this guy laid, we won’t have any trouble! – Dr. Peter Venkman”
The year 2014 marks the 30th anniversary of one of the raddest films ever made, Ghostbusters.
To celebrate this event, Sony already released a list of merchandising partners who will be honoring the film with new games, toys and collectibles over the course of the year so to all you geeks out there, including myself, you better watch out!
To spice things up they even teamed up with Los Angeles’ pop culture art gallery Gallery 1988 to create a traveling art show that will feature top artists’ interpretations of Ghostbusters over the last 30 years. Limited edition screen prints and posters will be available during each stop of the tour.
Until then we’ll have to keep ourselves entertained though with charging our proton packs and looking at some behind the scene photos of the Making Ghostbusters book which was released way back in 1985. Enjoy.
